Moen M-DURA Heavy-Duty Manual Flush Valves Product Demonstration
I am replacing the 3rd Moen faucet in 4 years. They are frickin' junk.
talk about junk... mine leaks on initial install... plastic is loose on the stem... knew it was garbage as soon as i opened the box and the leaking proves it... buy for life? yeah right not even 5 minutes... waste of 5 hours of my time dealing with this junk
Is it just me or has Moen really made some things a total pain in the ass upon first installation…talk about reinventing the wheel….
I couldnt snap either
To disconnect, press the black "button" and pull. Should come right off.
I just saw in the manual I will need to get an extension kit, because my counter is too thick. I'm about an 8th off. I can't believe they couldn't just make the main stem a quarter inch longer. The kit is $95. All I needed was just one piece out of the whole kit. What a ripoff!
I can't get mine to snap in, because my counter is too thick and with the spacer on the nut doesn't go far up enough to allow the locking mechanism to snap in. Do they sell a thinner spacer?
who services these control panels???
Always breaks after a few years
I have had duralock on my sink for 7 years and it leaks constantly. Now I have to replace the entire cabinet under the sink. Do yourself a favor and don't install this - it will cost you money and time, and frustrate you for years.
Oh yeah, that simple! What an expensive joke on the customer.
I just installed one of these the other day and it was very easy and simple. No holes to drill, no screws to screw and no tools required other than your hands. It might take an inexperienced person up to 45 minutes but, for me, from the time I opened the box to the time I had it ready to hang a curtain, was about 20 minutes. Most of that time was reading the instructions and playing with it on a workbench just to see how it all worked. It was about $50 on Amazon. Oh yeah and, by the way, I love it. It gives you just a few more inches of elbow room but that makes a huge difference. Also, for some reason, it seems to not cause the shower curtain to billow inward as they usually do.
I cannot "snap on the ends" They do not stay put. Any suggestions?
More than a year and no replies. I just installed one of these the other day and I found that the cover would only snap on when it is in a certain position. Did you try rotating it? That's what I did.
Sorrry but you get a dislike. Next time show how to remove these connections. Don't rely on commenters to explain this for you. Even the damn instructions failed to explain it! Gees!!
You have to be smarter than the push button to figure it out buddy😂😂😂
@@kickassclone75 You'd be surprised how many people are not... 😀
Except when the piece of crap button sticks
@ddmercantile I figured it was a button but wasn't sure. What if it is a clip that needs to be pulled. I pressed hard, but it was stuck. I didn't want to break the plastic piece. Once someone confirmed that it was a button and not a clip then I felt more secure of pushing harder. I eventually got it off.
Yes you think they would show you how it works so you don't break it!
How do you free up a sticky stuck release button ?
While using the faucet the end of the hose that connects to the Duralock fitting popped out. Now every time I reconnect the hose to the Duralock fitting it pops off as soon as I turn the water valve back on. How do I replace the Duralock fitting? And how do I replace the water supply hoses when the time comes? (i.e., how do I gain access to the end of the supply lines where they connect to the faucet?)
you buy delta
J’en veux un!
There is a button on the lock. Mine was a large black button. Push it for quick release.
Thank you for this information you saved me hours!!
Thank so much. I spent over 1 hour trying to release the hose and I couldn’t. Even though I pushed the large black button that you mention, I didn’t apply enough pressure. So, after your comment here, I went ahead with confidence and I got it out in one second. I feel sooo stupid but oh well… Thaank you again
Incomplete video. How do you uninstall it?
